Prolinea Brings Together Old-World
Craftsmanship & 21st Century Technology

The Stoehr family's newest flooring business, Prolinea LLC, was created based on the same principles of quality and service that were evident four generations ago, when Robert A. Stoehr founded the Cincinnati Floor Company in 1894. As succeeding generations built this Ohio-based company, and established other flooring ventures over the years, they stayed true to those original ideals and quickly gained industry-wide respect.

As its reputation for quality products and skilled craftsmanship grew, major national projects requested their expertise. Such notables included the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan, with eight acres of teak herringbone wood floors and the National Art Gallery, in Washington D.C. with four and a half acres of plank wood flooring. In addition to these significant commercial projects, the company also built an industry leading sports flooring company known throughout the world, supplying Olympic venues, NBA teams and top NCAA programs.

Prolinea is continuing to build on the fine reputation and skill inherited from it’s founders, into the 21st Century, applying new technology and design to an old world craft.
